The website has undergone some changes in the last few weeks. You may have noticed some new links on the menu on the left side of the page. We'll be adding more in the weeks and months leading up to the event in order to help you find the information you need to make your plans for the event.
Accomodations Link
The accomodations link will show you all the hotels, motels, B&Bs and campgrounds available in the area. We have included maps to show you their location in relation to the event site. We have also included phone numbers and websites (where available) to help you make your reservations.
Forums
The new website forums are available to anyone who has created an account on our website. This is different from the information you provided when you registered! You must create an account using the registration link on the right side of this page. Once the account is created and you have logged in, you will be able to post on the forums.
We hope you will use these forums to give us feedback on the site and on the event. You can also make plans with other cachers. There will be topics for carpoolers, cache runs, sightseeing, and much more. Have fun, but keep it clean! |

The Maritime Mega Organizing Committee would like to hear from you if you plan to attend our Mega Event! No need to log in or even register on this site -- just fill out the form and tell us your email, caching nickname, and the number of people planning to attend under that name.
We need to hear from you to let Groundspeak know that this will truly be a Maritime MEGA!
If you wish, you can submit your home coordinates as well, so we can get an idea of where people will be coming from.

The countdown to the Maritime Mega has begun! In 365 days, geocachers from around the world will gather in Dayspring, Nova Scotia to celebrate 10 years of geocaching in Canada.
The Maritime Mega Event (GC1P585) will be a one day event and held at the Municipal Activity and Recreation Complex , just outside of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. The MARC offers a 100 Acres of open space, which includes fields, woods, ponds, brooks and trails. It is only minutes from Canada’s First Geocache and hundreds of other Geocaching opportunites.
This event promises to be a great time! There will be Geocaching related educational opportunities, great food, swag vendors, entertainment and lots of socializing. (a Maritime tradition!). It’s going to be one big Cachin’ Ceilidh! |
